Cat Ba expects to receive 1 million tourist visits
|

Over the past years, number of travelers visiting Cat Ba has continuously increased. In 2007, the number was 729,000 including 224,000 foreigner’s visits. In the first nine months of 2008 alone, the traveling visits reached 664,000 accounting for 83% of the year target, 6% increase compared to the same period last year. Of those, the international visits account for 31%. Cat Hai district plans to welcome 1 million tourist visits per year from 2010.
