To create a healthy ecological environment in the tourist site, the company has decided to carry out some projects, including the construction of an ‘underwater palace’, an eco-park and many deluxe hotels on an area of 60ha, 100 villas, and the Cu Nau Island International Conference Center with total investment of nearly VND400 billion.
Pham Huy Thuong, the general director of the company, said that the entire staff of the company pays much attention to environmental protection. The company is making great efforts to turn Cat Ba Island into a charming and wonderful tourist site. “We have a plan to cooperate with an American company to invest in building a coral restoration area adjacent to the Cu Nau Island, improving and upgrading the Ben Beo T-junction into a coach station, building a square, a floating eco-site, and a deepwater port with total investment of VND100 billion. At the same time, the company will expand the transport system linking Cat Ba Island to the Tuan Chau Tourist Site in Quang Ninh to facilitate tours to Cat Ba, Ha Long. The company has requested the Hai Phong People’s Committee to improve the traffic link between Tung Gau and Ha Long.

Coming to the Cat Ba Island, domestic and foreign tourists will feel satisfied with the fresh air and clean environment here, leaving behind them smoke, dust and noise that come from vehicles and industrial zones. Notably, residents in Cat Ba are highly aware of the need to protect the ecological environment.
